Is Your Laptop Dying Of Heat? Stack Some Copper Coins To Cool It Down!

All of us, literally all of us have faced the problem of our laptops overheating. While some have gone out and bought cooling pads, some operate their laptops in air-conditioned environments, and some have all sorts of weird fixes like ice packs and whatnot, the bottom line is that everyone has tried to sort out the issue.
Want a quick fix? Japanese twitter user Suzuki Akinori might just have figured out an end to your hot laptop problems.

Suzuki explained that since copper is a good conductor of heat, stacking copper coins on the laptop will help radiate the heat better.

Explaining his method using a photo he tweeted, Suzuki said (translated from Japanese):
“If anyone is having a problem with their MacBook Pro getting too hot and not cooling down, try using some 10-yen coins you have lying around the house. The copper in the yen is a better conductor of heat than the aluminum of the computer and is good for getting the heat out.”

Another user who replied to his tweet also went ahead and tried using copper coins as a radiator for the motherboard in his computer.

And it seems to work for him also. He stated in the tweet (translated from Japanese), “I adopted this technique and it has significantly lowered the temperature of my motherboard, it seems.”
Well, whatever works, guys! Engineers always seem to find a way!
Try it out and let us know!
